The World Athletics Cross Country Championships take place today in Tallahassee, Florida, hot on the heels of Ireland’s hugely successful European Cross Country Championships outing last month in Portugal.
Ireland will have a far more low key presence on this occasion, with many of the country’s Euro Cross standouts opting to turn their attention to the upcoming indoor season instead. Even so, four top class Irish athletes will pull on the green vest against the very best in the world.
